• I stood in front of the stove, while Ushio glared out the window, trying not to upset someone.
We had gotten home after class only about a half an hour ago, and already he was complaining about food... So, now I know something new about him.
When he's hungry, he's b****y... That's all I really can say to explain it.
"Is rice all you want-?" I ask turning to him, smiling warmly.
He shot me a dark glare. "Yes."
I glared back at him. "Fine, fine. No need to get snipy about it, geez, kid."
Juko walked into the kitchen and immediatly rushed over to me, trying to hide from Ushio's death glare, to everyone else it must have been terrifying, I didn't really think it was all that scary... Just really daring to do to your Math teacher. I mean, if your Math teacher fails you, your screwed.
He tugged on my shirt. "Why are we having dinner so early?" He asks quietly, so he wouldn't upset the evil over lord sitting at the dinning table.
I smiled and patted his head. "I'll tell you when it leaves."
Ushio growled. "And who, exactly, is 'it'?"
I put on an innocent face and shrugged. "I dunno. Whose it?" I looked down at Juko. "Do you know?"
Juko hesitated, but slowly raised his hand and pointed at Ushio, who was giving off a dark aura at the moment.
Ushio jumped up and came at Juko. "Why you little-."
I grabbed the spone I used for the rice and smacked Ushio in the head with it. "Knock it off!"
Juko hid behind me, clinging to my shirt.
    Ushio rubbed his head. "Ouch..."
I growled at him. "Try to hurt my Juko again and I'll aim lower, got it?" I said pointing at his crotch with the spone.
Ushio stood up straight, towering over me, looking me dead in the eye, his face unreadable. "You..."
I glared up at him. "I'm willing to learn how to not baby him as much and let others come closer, but I won't let someone physicly hurt him, especially not someone like you." I growled.
He narrowed his eyes. "Someone like me?"
    I nodded.
    "Explain."
I poked his chest. "I would never let my own student or lover hurt someone even closer to me, got it? Don't touch Juko."
He opened his mouth to say something and gave me the stink eye, but didn't do anything. He just stalked over to his chair and sat down, glaring out the window.
I patted Juko's head. "Go upstairs, okay? I'll call you down when our dinner's ready, 'kay?" I hint.
He nodded and glanced at Ushio.
Ushio looked at him in the corner of his eye.
Juko walked out of the kitchen, keeping a cautious eye on Ushio the whole time.
This was like watching a somekind of angsty gang stand off.... and I was caught in the middle of it... Wait... Juko would never get mad at someone. He terrified of Ushio, he could never get the guts to glare at him. I'm sure of it.
When Juko was upstairs and the room got terribly quiet I finally began to relax and think of other things, besides Juko and Ushio.
    I should get to work on cleaning the house, I wasn't really able to do that good enough because I was rather distracted last weekend, thanks to someone... {Ushio}
Hm... did I fold the laundry in the upstairs bathroom? Did I even do the laundry in the bathroom on this level?
    I sighed.
    Probably not...
Warm arms wrapped around me and hugged me against an even warmer body. "What's wrong?"
I smirked and stired the rice. "Nothing. Just thinking."
He propped his head on mine. "About me?"
"Not really." I say trying to focus on the rice.
"How thick are the walls in your house?" Ushio asks quietly.
    I blinked. "Eh?"
"Can you hear what people are doing in their rooms easily?" He asks taking his head off mine.
I suddenly felt like he was going to eat me or pounce on me. I no longer felt safe. "Um... I can hear what Ushio is doing almost all the time. He's usual playing his video games or listening to music... Why?"
Ushio tightened his arms around me. "Where's your bed room?"
I stopped stirring the rice and froze.
    Should I tell him?
I thought about seriously for a second.
    H*** no!
"I don't think so." I grumbled, continuing to stire the rice.
    He chuckled. "Why not?"
"Because, Juko's here, and if he walked in on us I would never be able to face him again... or if he even heard us, I wouldn't be able to handle it..." I say, my face getting hot.
He put his warm lips on my ear. "But you would if he wasn't here though, right? What if I got him to leave for... an hour or so?"
I shook my head. "No. I-it's okay. I'll survive."
"But I won't." He said nibbling on my ear.
I jumped and tried to push him away.
    He didn't move. "What's wrong?"
I growled. "Don't mess around like that. I'm standing over a stove, idiot."
He chuckled and relaxed his arms around me. "Fine, fine. I'm sorry."
    I shook my head. "Dumby."

Ushio pushed his bowl of rice away from his face. "I'm done."
Me and Juko looked up from our own bowls. "Hm?"
Does he have to announce it? Is it really that important to let everyone else around you know your done eating?
    {Damn... my dad came home... I have to go. Bye, bye!}
