• The day was like any other... until halfway through first period. Osbourne-Montague Academy was taken over... by the nerds. The Jocks were held hostage in the gym, Goths in the dorms, and the outcast were either being displayed on the TV getting wedgied, or were held in the main school building with the rebellious nerds. Only four people were not being held hostage, one from each clique. The fastest jock, the scariest Goth, the most hated outcast, and the rebel leader.

    They were hiding in various spots all heading for one point... the front gate.

    The first one there was the outcast. His name was Taz and he was so hated that even the nerds gave him swirlies. He saw that the gate was guarded by 4 nerds, each wielding a different weapon. Taz was thinking of what to do when someone grabbed him. He spun around to come face to face with Nova, the Goth girl. Taz smiled and Nova smacked him. Taz crumpled to the ground. Nova rolled her eyes and looked to see what Taz had seen.

    Taz came out of the fetal position and looked up, which was straight up Nova skirt. Nova noticed, blushed, and kicked Taz in the head. Taz returned to his little ball.

    Nova and Taz had been waiting there for about 3 minutes when Tom, Taz's jock twin, came. Nova rolled her eyes at Tom, Tom stared at his outcast twin, and Taz looked to Nova for help. Nova pulled up Taz and whispered "Don't even think about it." Taz nodded submissively. Tom looked at them strangely. Taz turned to his brother. Tom opened his arms for a hug. Taz flipped him off.

    When the three of them were about to give up and try to find a way out in the back. A hand beckoned them around a corner. Taz is first to go since he was least liked. He stuck his head back around to tell the others that it was safe. Around the corner was Jane, the rebellious nerd. Jane noticed Tom and Taz looked a lot alike (Not too many people ever see Taz and Tom together). "I have a way to take back the school but it will mean working together and liberating the others." Jane said looking at the three unlikely allies.

    Taz looked excited at this, thinking it might put him back on good terms with the school. Tom looked at this as a way to increase his popularity. Nova just went along with it. Jane looked at Tom and said "We will be liberating the Jocks because they are all in one spot other then the outcasts inside the main building. We will save them for last." Tom smiled. Taz frowned. Nova just shrugged.

    Tom led the way as they snuck around to the back of the campus. They had some close calls, but they made it. Tom told them that the jocks were in the main gym and were being held at spud cannon-point. Taz shuttered. The nerds had used him for target testing those. Taz had awoken in the infirmary more than once, because of that weapon. Nova patted Taz on the shoulder, having watched him get pelted with the high speed spuds. Tom looked at Nova weirdly. Nova didn't notice. Jane said "Ok. Then we are going to need a distraction." She looked at Taz. Taz knew what she was getting at. "NO! NOOO! NEVER! I STILL HAVE NIGHTMARE ABOUT THAT THING!"

    "You have the most resistance to them." Jane said

    "FINE! But you guys owe me BIG TIME!" Taz said

    "Ok. Now when I say go, Taz you run in like a maniac and Tom you tackle and disarm them. Nova and I will attempt to get them out of here, and have them charge the front gates." Jane said

    They moved to the door outside of the gym and Jane said "GO, GO, GO!" Taz charged through the door shouting "BOOKWORMS AND TOILETHEADS" repeatedly. Tom tackled the one closest to the door and grabbed his weapon. Tom stood and yanked the weapon off of another. Taz broke from his distraction due to the fact that Tom had stolen their attention. Taz ran at a nerd knocking him over and grabbing the weapon. Tom and Taz surrounded the last one, who dropped his gun. Taz grabbed it and held to at cannon point while tom held the other two at cannon point. The Jocks zoomed out of the gym and charged the front gate, taking out the guards, and leaving the nerds unarmed and unhappy. But, like most Jocks, they only cared about themselves, and left the campus.

    Taz looked around and said "Ok. So, next liberate the Goths?" Nova walked over to Taz... and put her arm around him. Taz blushed. Nova noticed. "What! Don't like me doing this?"

    "No. It's the closest he has ever gotten to a girl." Tom said before falling to the ground laughing.

    Taz blushed even redder. Nova noticed. "It's ok, Taz." Nova said. Taz smiled still redder then Mickey Mouse's pants.

    "Ok! Are liberating the school, or revealing our feelings." Tom said and broke down laughing again. Nova looked at Taz. He nodded. Nova walked over to Tom and kicked him. Taz fell to the floor, laughing. He hadn't see Tom get kicked since he was 5 and Tom had stolen his lollipop. Taz walked over and kissed Nova on the cheek, earning him a slap on the face. "Sorry. Too soon. You can beat the crap out of me." Taz sad holding his throbbing his cheek.

    Nova kissed Taz on the cheek and said "Ok! Let's go to the DORMS!"

    "Ok then let's go!" Jane said walking out after seeing this rag-tag group's celebrations. Tom followed Jane closely, Taz and Nova running after them.

    The group, armed with spud cannons split up, Jane and Tom taking The Guys dorm, Nova and Taz taking the Girls dorm (Taz and Nova didn't want to leave each other). Taz and Nova burst through the door. They saw the Goth girls sitting in a corner. Taz put his cannon to the back of a nerds head while Nova disarmed him. Nova and Taz then disarmed the others. Taz and Nova smiled triumphantly. Then, a large shadow came over them. They turned, and standing there was the largest bully at the school.

    The bully looked at the two rebels and said "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This will be easier than I thought." He grabbed Nova and tossed her on his shoulder where she screamed and kicked. Taz fired his Spud Cannons, but the spuds bounced off. The bully seized the cannons and started to shoot at Taz. He ran around trying to think of something to do to save Nova. Nova, meanwhile, was scratching at his back. The bully laughed and said "I'm going to have fun with you! !" Then it hit Taz. Taking advantage of the bully getting lost in his laughter, Taz slid under him and whacked him in the groin. The bully's eyes crossed and down he went. Nova had just enough time to jump as he fell. Taz caught her and ran out of the way of the falling lug.

    "Wow. You took down the strongest guy in the school." Nova said, still in Taz's arms.

    "He laid a hand on my girl" Taz said, earning himself a slap... and a kiss on the lips. Taz blushed. Nova giggled.

    Meanwhile, Tom and Jane were assaulting the boys dorms. They had already disarmed and tied up 3 of them. But the fourth one was going without a fight. He wielded a double barrel spud cannon and a golf club. Tom and Jane were running back and forth trying to formulate a plan of attack. They eventually had grabbed a baseball bat and a tee shirt launcher from various rooms. Tom had one shot to hit the nerd. He fired and hit something else... the barrels of the cannon. The shirt jammed it and gave Jane her chance to strike. A large swordfight-like action went down, Jane eventually over powering the nerd and stealing the bat away. Tom tied the guy up and released the Goths. They all ran for it and combined with the crowd from the girls dorm. The four followed this flood and met back up. Tom watched as Taz was still carrying Nova. Nova had her arms around Taz's neck. She smiled at them.

    "Bro. I'm calling you Yin-Yang from now on." Tom said, staring at the odd couple.

    Nova turned to her boyfriend and said "Ok, you can put me down." Taz put her down gently and she kissed him on the cheek. Taz blushed. Nova smiled.

    "Ok." Jane said "We need to formulate an attack against the main building. The nerds have that place surrounded with guards. Then inside, there are 4 patrols covering every inch of the building. And sitting in the principal's office is the leader. But that's not the worst part. The leader booby trapped every classroom, bathroom, and janitor's closet. It will not be easy, and it may become overwhelming. Some of us may not make it out without injuries."

    Taz's smile melted away. Nova and Tom grimaced. Jane started babbling off roles and moves. Taz kept up, slowly forming a grimace on his face. Tom started getting jittery. Nova just listened.

    After about five minutes. Jane said "Ok, let's get into position." They each ran to the different bushes and when Jane gave the signal, Taz and Tom charged at the opposite sides of the front guard. Confused as to where they had come from the guards were overpowered before the girls were needed. Taz smiled as the last one was tied up. Nova and Jane walked over. "Inside before the guards notice." Jane said.

    Taz and Tom got into position on the door. Tom kicked open the door and Taz ran in tackling the closest nerd. Tom followed suit. Taz disarmed the nerd and tied him up. Taz suddenly was flipped over and was face to face with his nemesis, Jackson. Tom ran over but Taz stopped him. "No! This is my battle you guys just continue! I'll meet up with you in a minute." Taz stood and started circling around Jackson. The others continued down the hall dispatching patrols. Taz and Jackson kept circling.

    Finally, Taz leapt at Jackson, who grabbed Taz and threw him into the wall. Taz was dazed for a split-second but got right back up and dodged Jackson's punch, causing it to hit the wall with full force. Jackson howled in pain. Taz punched Jackson, who then crumpled over. "That was too easy." Taz said. Jackson then pulled Taz to the ground and got on top of him. Taz closed his eyes not wanting to see his final moments. Suddenly, Taz felt Jackson's weight lift off of him. He opened his eyes and saw a couple of other outcasts beating up Jackson. Taz stood and said 'How did you get out here, and how did you know I was in trouble?"

    "Your girlfriend found us and told us what happened. Sorry we doubted your courage." One of them said.

    Taz smiled and said "Ok guys, tie him up and then get to freedom." Taz threw them some rope and ran in the direction the outcast told him that the rest of the allies ran.

    The others, having just finished liberating the rest of the outcasts and rebels, saw Taz running like a maniac towards them. "So did you win!?" Tom and Nova asked at the same time.

    "Um... I would have been turned into a punching bag if those outcasts hadn't been alerted to the fight and saved me." Taz said, blushing.

    "Well did you at least punch him?" Tom asked

    "It was going well till he got me on the ground." Taz said blushing even more. Nova kissed him.

    "Well at least he got beaten up by you before that happened." Nova said attempting to comfort Taz. Taz smiled.

    "Um... not to interrupt this moment of pride but we need to assault the office before he finds out." Jane said, impatiently.

    "Fine by me." Taz said

    The group walked to the lobby prepping to face the head nerd.

    The group ran into the main office, to find it empty. Taz raised an eyebrow. Suddenly, the principal's office door burst open with a BOOM! Taz dropped to the floor, Nova following suit. Tom blinked, as did Jane. Standing in the doorway was Alexander. He was covered from head to toe with weapons. Spud-cannons, golf clubs, and one covered in a black cloth. Taz stood and helped up Nova. Alexander shot his cannon before anyone could see him move. Taz was hit on the shoulder. Taz winced but held his ground. Tom dived at Alexander, but he pulled out a golf club and whacked him in the head. Tom stayed down. Taz saw this and dived as well, dodging the club and whacking Alexander in the thigh. Taz smirked but was hit at point-blank range by spud-cannon. Taz was out cold. Nova leapt at Taz to pull him away and was hit as well by a spud. She covered Taz, not moving.

    "So Jane. You and me as usual." Alexander said

    "You know I'll win" Jane said

    "Ok then. Let's even this up." Alex threw a cannon to Jane and said "Western style." Jane and Alex stood back to back and took 10 paces. They then turned and drew. Alex was carrying a six barral cannon. He got off a shot, but they missed by an inch as Jane ducked. Jane hit her target though... Alex's groin. Alex went down like a building being demolished. He fell on Tom. Jane then tied up Alex and revived the others. Taz stood with a huge lump on his forehead, Nova held her stomach, and Tom rubbed the back of his head. Jane smiled at Tom, who returned the smile.

    Taz and Nova walked out of the office to find the nurse. Tom and Jane walked into the principal's office and untied him.

    "Thank you for saving all of us." The principal said. "I will make sure that you get a plaque in your honor."
