The crowd watched in amazement as the fierce Feraligatr went head to head against his opponent. His name is Chewer, his name given by his trainer, something about being named after an old pet. The Onix he was against grew weak as the battle progressed. Chewer evades an attack, then focuses his energy into a full frontal Hyrdo Cannon attack he learned in Blackthorn. The Onix is blasted back from the Hydro Cannon, then faints. Chewer's trainer cheers in joy that he has won, maybe forgetting that the Onix was at a type disadvantage, he shouldn't be too surprised. The rest of the team tells him he did great, as they were all healed by the Frontier employee.
Elsewhere, An Ampharos was on her way through a place she called "The Rockies" since rocks scattered about the entire landscape, yet lacked a mountainous landscape. She was heading to a spring, it was cool and relaxing, and it glowed brightly in the cave with crystals above, gleaming with sunlight.
Her name is Snow, she is also a part of her trainer's pokemon, along with her old friend Chewer. She had journeyed through all of Johto, mostly just the three of them. It was until her trainer's old team were done being researched and were sent back, that her hourney was done. She would still see her trainer, just not as often as she used to. She still had Chewer though, at least, she did until her trainer brought him to the Battle Frontier.
As she progressed, she noticed a Furret, it was scared out of its mind. As she peeked from behind a large rock, she spotted the threat, a large Aggron with a glare that could almost paralyze you. She then braced her back against the rock, as she listened to the two. Everything was quiet. At least it seemed that way to her. Then something rushed right by her, It appeared to be the Furret. Realizing that the Furret had no pursuer, she asked herself where the Aggron was. Her answer came when the very rock behind her was crushed into pieces.
She stumbled then fell on her back, facing the Aggron. It was scarier up close. It appeared to have dried blood on it's damaged armor, a sure sign it was an experienced killer. Snow hated type disadvantages, it wasn't that she didn't have a move to use against it, she was just more afraid of being hit herself, especially by a pokemon that is likely stronger then her. It would certainly kill her. It could snap her spine in two, it could rip her head off in one bite... But why didn't it? Realizing this, she stood up and faced her adversary. "My name is Snow. I do not mean any harm." Said Snow with new found bravery... The Aggron's look of aggression became confusion. "You acting wierd" it said. She herself became confused. It's grammar wasn't that great and its voice had a deep unsettling tone, but it was asking questions first, so that was a good sign.
As Snow continued on her way. She explained how she was on her way to a spring. The Aggron listened closely, although he wasn't interested in the spring. "You aware that you electric type right?" It asked. "I know this move, I don't need to worry about the pokemon made of Steel or Rock." She said. "What of the ones that are part of the earth." He asked. Ground types, damn. She never thought about those. She knew focus blast, a fighting type move that although effective against most threats, Ground types could take the hit. "Then I just hope your here to protect me." She said smiling. The Aggron wasn't too amused. "I don't follow you to protect you, but to see your actions. If you fight my fellow pokemon, I will have to stop you myself." He said. "But what if I'm threatened"? She asked. The Aggron lifted his foot then smacked it on the ground. Everything around them began to shake. Rocks were crumbled, and were no longer recognizable. "Your warned." He said as he turned his head and went his own way, knowing his message was well recieved.
What he didn't realize, was that the terrain had been altered dramatically. All of the landmarks Snow used were now rubble on the ground. The rock that "looked like the Battle Tower" was now just another mess. Snow had no way of navigating anymore. She was lost.
After she woke up, she wandered the land looking for anything familar. The quake had been spread out over a larger radius. Not only that, but she was unlucky enough to go the wrong way. Not heading to the spring or back home. Days passed, at night the only source of light would be coming from the moon and her lumineous tail. She was not likely to see anything familar.
She did actually find a familar sight, but now wasn't the time to count blessings. She found the Furret she saw with the Aggron. "Hello there." she asked. There was no response, it was standing on its hind legs, looking for something. It then sat back down. "oh... hello" It didn't seem too glad to see another pokemon. "I don't suppose you know the way to human civilization do you?" Snow asked. "Nope. You interfere with humans and immediatly they send your own kind against you." He said. "I know what you mean." She said, remembering when she was a Mareep and fought Chewer. "Could you take me someplace with food then"? She asked. The Furret squinted, the light on her tail was bright, almost as bright as the Ampharos in the Olivine lighthouse.
She remembered when she was there. The sight was beautiful from up there. She remembered looking onto the sea with Chewer and their trainer. The room of mirrors became even brighter as she entered. The memory was sweet, but now wasn't the best time to remember sweet memories. She began to miss Chewer and the rest of her friends. She started to cry. "I want to see you all again guys" She started saying to herself.
She soon got a hold of herself. "Sorry about that... My name is Snow... You"? She asked. "Joseph." He said. Snow still seemed so sad. It was hard, but he then turned around then walked away. He looked back and said "I have too many things to deal with right now..." He felt bad that he had to go, but Snow couldn't tell. Her mind wasn't what it used to be. She was losing her sanity.
Elsewhere, Chewer was searching for Snow. He noticed that the environment had been changed. Nothing seemed familar to him. Being a predator, survival wasn't going to be as much of a problem. He looked around for any clue of Snow. A light in the distance, tracks, a living being, something. But no luck. He hoped that he would find her, but was having no luck.
More days have passed, and Snow was losing more and more of her sanity. She was mad that Joseph left her. She grew vengeful, thinking that he left her to die. She had found only morsels of food but nothing that would really be filling. Being an Ampharos, eating meat was against her, but if she found meat she knew she would have to eat it. Even if it was... fish? A gust of wind passed, she smelled salt. She thought it could be the ocean. She ran toward the scent, hoping for food and water.
As night came, Snow's tail luminated through the sky. Chewer was not close enough to see it, but another pokemon did. It was a Lucario. He saw in the distance this light. Humans? He wanted to find out, so he got up and casually followed the light.
Joseph was at the beach. He stood on his hind legs, searching for something. "There you are Joseph!" said a voice. The voice was a female, and obviously she was pissed as hell. Joseph turned his head. It was a Flareon and Umbreon. "Where the hell have you been?!" She asked. "Are you still mad at me Kieta?" Joseph asked her. "Mad? Of course I'm mad! Especially after what you did. And you used to be so much nicer"! She said. "Well what do you expect from me? If it wasn't for me you never would of met your sister!" He said. "I have enough problems already!". He then noticed the expression on Kieta's face. She seemed a little shocked. Then from behind him, an almost sinister voice said to him "Damn right you do."
Snow had found Joseph again. What luck. He turned around, shocked himself. "You left me to die!" Snow exclaimed. "Left you to die? I just went my own way!" He told her. "Whatever your reason, you left a hungry pokemon all by herself. And why? For this girl?" She said. Joseph turned around and looked at Kieta, then turned back to Snow. "Not for her. I had to... It's complicated... What could I have done for you?!" He said. Snow's tail pointed right at him. "Things are gonna get a hell of a lot more complicated." she said. "SIGNAL BEAM!". A ray of colors were emited from her tail, focused into a laser like attack aimed at Joseph. Joseph scurried to the top of a large rock. Snow quickly pursued him. Joseph stopped running, he turned around then let out a whail that shook the very ground. He was using Hyper Voice. Snow fell back, but countered. "THUNDER!" She shouted as a bolt of lightning came from her tail towards the sky, then went right down back to Joseph. The attack missed. It was times like this she wished she remembered to bring her wide lens, but she was afraid of losing them. She was through with playing games. She had to end this. "Focus Blast!" She said. She focused her power, but the exhaustion, hunger, and thirst got to her. She could barely stand.
The Lucario caught up. The lighting bolt caught his attention. As he jumped on the rock, he noticed the battle going on before him. He saw the energy being built up within Snow, but before she used it, Joseph had rushed at her with great speed. He then jumped at her and took her down. His Quick Attack had saved him. He then ran, trying to get as far as possible, Kieta and her sister quickly followed behind. They still had their own matters to deal with. But Snow laid on the ground, as her eyes began to close, she saw numerous visions. "I want to see Chewer again... I want to see Chewer again" She said as she slowly fainted.
Snow eventually woke up. But it wasn't by the beach like she remembered. She was in a cave, with her belly full while she laid by a fire. A lucario was tending it. The same one who was at he battle. "Let me guess. You want me to leave?" He asked. "No, don't. My name is Snow" She said. "Kato" Said the Lucario. "What exactly were you dreaming? You were murmering something." Snow didn't answer his question. Instead she just said "Thank you". Kato didn't mind, it wasn't his business. "What do you mean? I didn't tend for you." He said. "What? I'm by a fire, I'm well fed, and your the only one here. What are you talking about?" Snow asked. Kato got up then headed for the entrance. He turned around then said. "I hope you'll have more sense then to go out fighting." He then left. Snow wasn't bothered by this. She had regained a part of her sanity. She felt stupid for the incident with Joseph. She then left as well and continued her search. The cave was in the middle of a forest, berries grew everywhere around her. She figured that it would be smart to make this her own camp while she searched for a way home.
Days passed. Chewer was elsewhere, eating a magikarp raw. He didn't mind too much. Kato found Chewer and walked up to him. "Want that cooked tiny?" He asked. Kato didn't mean it and Chewer knew that. "Tiny? Funny. Thats something I don't want to hear from my food." Chewer said. He didn't mean what he said but the thought was still a bit scary to Kato. "My name is Kato. What about you?" He asked. "Chewer" Chewer replied. Kato noticed scratches on the trees, they all looked like arrows. "Dare I ask?" Kato said. Chewer looked and then realized what he ment. "It's no good searching for somebody if you get lost yourself you know." He explained. "Who are you looking for?" Kato asked. "I'm looking for Snow, she's an Ampharos and a part of my trainer's team." Chewer told him. Now the chances of such a thing happening was slim. It was as if something was gonna help bring them together.
Snow sat down at the tree, her tail shining brightly through the night. She still had no luck finding a way back home. She sat there, lost in her own fantasies, trying to escape her reality. She remembered happy thoughts, such as the time she beat the Battle Hall's Frontier Brain. She also thought of herself on a boat over the seas. But she kept thinking of her dream. The details were vivid, she remembered one thing the most clearly. She kissed Chewer. She didn't understand this though, he was a reptile and would usually eat her kind for breakfast. But she didn't shudder from the idea as well. As she waited, she thought she heard her name being shouted from a distance.
"SNOW!" Shouted Chewer, immediatly when they saw the light. He ran towards the light, almost forgetting to scratch some trees so they can get back. Kato wished he could go faster, but if he did, he would leave Chewer behind. He wanted to make sure Chewer got to Snow.
Snow then heard rustling and scratches. Did that Aggron find out about her battle? Did that battle count under his terms? "snow" said Chewer from distance. Snow recognized the voice then jumped off the berry tree. She saw Kato and Chewer in the distance. When chewer finally made it he hugged Snow in a surprisingly warm embrace. "I missed you Snow." Said Chewer. Snow started crying tears of joy. "I did too. I'm glad your here." She said. Kato picked a large oran berry off a tree then just sat and ate it, watching the two. Snow figured now was the time to tell Chewer. "While I was lost, I began to lose my own sanity. Throughout the entire time you were only on my mind." She said. "I didn't get why, not until I was rescued." Chewer wondered who saved her. Snow looked at Kato then said. "Theres no hiding it now. Your the one who saved me. Why else would you go to the trouble of finding me again for Chewer"? Kato nodded. "I know what you said in your dream actually. It's the only reason I thought of helping you." Said Kato. Snow blushed. She almost wished she wasn't taught Sleep Talk. "Chewer... I think that I may love you..." She said hesitantly, afraid of how he'd react. "Oh!... Well Snow... I... love you too, for awhile now actually. Its just that I was afraid to do anything... I didn't know what to think of my feelings toward you." Chewer said blushing. "What exactly did you dream"? Snow moved her head closer, then whispered to him. "That you'd find me, and as the moon shone on us, you would tell me how you felt... Then you'd kiss me." She said. Chewer then turned his head to Kato. "Could you turn your head, just for a few seconds or so?" Chewer asked him. Kato nodded then turned his head away. Snow blushed and as the light shone brightly on them, she kissed her loved one. They heard Kato gag, obviously he was a little too curious. As they let go, Snow asked Chewer "How do we explain this to Rept?" Chewer smiled. "He'll find out someway." He told her. They followed the scratches Chewer made, the light on Snow's tail shone brightly, She could've sworn it was brighter now. But she tried not to get too bothered by it, she was just glad she was going home.

Description:
A story based off an RP done long ago. This is the first time I ever done this actually. Anyway, the story does in fact contain originality since the central theme revolved around my character Snow.
I do not own pokemon and most of these characters. Only Snow and Chewer.
(Do not read until story is over)
Yeah that last part... Well its based off something that happened. I put Chewer and Snow in the Daycare and... Well now you can cringe less... or more... - Date: 08/02/2010
