- Abigail stared out, translucent eyes gazing blankly out onto the balcony, slowing moving upwards, peering fearlessly into the wide pulsing silver moon. Her lips parted, a tiny sigh escaping and drifting off, becoming a part of the wind that surrounded her overwhelmingly large palace. Abigail listened intently to the wind as it sang in her ears, the words unrecognizable and forever changing. The tones deepened, and then softened to breathy whispers, wailing a song that sounded mournful to Abigail’s sensitive ears. Her pale, frail body trembled in the breeze, shivers rapidly making their way up and down her spine despite the heavy cloak resting on her small shoulders. The weight was great, along with the warmth it provided, yet Abigail’s shoulders did not bend under the pressure asserted by the thick cloth. On the balcony, she stood, swathed in heavy cloth, staring up with her clear eyes. Abigail had often been told that she possessed eyes that glowed with dim light, but when one found themselves looking into them, whatever lay on the other side was unclear, foggy. A laugh bubbled to her lips, and she let it go free, opening her mouth for the burst of musical noise to escape. All the while, the wind whispered in her ears, promising unknown things and singing a serenade with no lyrics. Abigail removed her eyes from the moon, closing her lips, looking out into the dark forest before turning and slowly making her way inside, closing the doors behind her, shutting out the haunting serenade that none were able to understand, that none cared to listen to. Even with the doors shut, it remained in her ears, leaking through a window, singing her to sleep with words Abigail did not comprehend.

- This is preeeety amazing, kiddo. It made me cry. psych, but it's still really...enchanting? blah, I'm terrible at wording my feelings. Keep writing, this was brilliant. I hope more people comment, you deserve feedback, oh and by the way, After reading this somewhere around a thousand times, I have come to the conclusion that you're a professional. This is probably nothing special in your eyes.
