• JDB and the rubber ducks wake up from their short rest,
    and get ready to continue their "quest."
    They then wander in the forest as the sun rise up to the trees,
    the light of the dawn helping them along nature's scene.
    Moments later, they widen their eyes,
    to what the darkness of the forest has hide.
    A run-downed airship is what they found,
    then JDB teleported it and Eddie into town.

    Eddie and the ship lands in a mechanic's shop for repairs and such, using some of the gold from the small chest he, Pecky and Clarence found last night, while the others reflect and remember the adventure they had during the summer to help the Demigod (Writer's Notes: Yeah, Frontier Skies was a pretty good event, challenging and felt rewarding after I won once), Edie, Clarence and Pecky sitting on a log while JDB stands. After a half an hour, Eddie teleports back to the others, stating "the airship will be ready within a week before Christmas. But there is no way to power it up with the gold we have, otherwise we won't have enough for presents." JDB nods, "I see." Clarence glances at the rummage left behind, and hops off the log towards it, JDB noticing him and soon follows. The others watch as JDB and Clarence search around in the rummage, searching for anything useful. The two soon stop as Clarence picks up what looks like a glowing seed pod thing. Clarence says, "What is this?" JDB replies, "Beats me." The other three walk up the Clarence and JDB, then suddenly a mysterious voice speaks, "Its a Casimir tree seed." The five look around, going "What the..." as they slowly recognized that voice and identifies the owner of the voice as the Demigod they and millions of others helped saved during the summer. JDB responds, "How and why are you communicating to us?" The Demigod replies, "Upon my recovery after the help of you wonderful Gaians, I have gained my powers back, one is telepathy. And to answer your second question, I wanted to help you five with your quest to spread Holiday cheer and to save Xmas. That pod you have can make many Casimir trees which I use to live off of. It can also be used as a power source for any devices that you call 'airships.'" They all look down at the pod Clarence holds in his hand (wing), amazed of its power. "But be warned, keep it safe since its the last one that has not been planted and it will take the planted ones time to grow and produce more pods, more time that you five have." They nod and thank the Demigod while they start to head back to town, Clarence placing the pod in the small chest.

    A few hours later, JDB and the ducks wander around the town, looking for places to buy presents, writing down the names of some shops. They then decide to stop and get some lunch and to discuss what each are gonna buy during the next few days, as a shadowy figure spies them from a distance. Once they finish the discussion, the five head out, the figure following them. Edie looks back a few times with the feeling that they're being watched. She spots the figure following them, Clarence looking at his sister, saying "Everything ok, Edie?" Edie looks at him, saying "Yeah..." she looks back behind her and the figure is gone. "Just had the feeling we were being followed." Suddenly, the figure runs out and swaps the chest from Eddie, taking the gold and pod. Clarence yells out, "Give that back," as he and Eddie chases after him, the others soon follow. The thief runs into an alley with Eddie and Clarence right on his tail. The thief hits a dead end and quickly hides behind a dumpster. The two ducks reach the dead end and look around as the thief opens the chest, but the glow of the pod and gold catches the attention of the two and they confront the thief as he tries to sneak out. Eddie says, "Now, hand it over." The thief suddenly attacks, the two ducks defending themselves and fighting back. As they hear footsteps, the thief tricks the two and escapes, but drops the chest.

    Turns out that the footsteps are from JDB, Pecky and Edie, finding the two rubbing their bruises and wounds. Edie then comforts her brother as JDB asks if they are alright. Eddie replies "Yeah, we're fine." Clarence adding, "Yeah, as long as the pod is safe," as he picks up the chest, seeing that the pod is the only thing in it. Eddie pats Clarence's back, telling him "You did good fighting there, kid." Clarence nods as he closes the chest. JDB says, " well its great that you two are alright and that we still have the pod." Clarence, "Yeah, but the thief got away with the gold." Edie "Don't worry about that, Clarence." JDB nods, "Yeah, we got just enough back home." Pecky suddenly says, "Well, I think thats enough excitement fro one day." JDB "Agreed. We'll continue tomorrow if you two are able." Eddie interrupts "Don't worry, we're gonna be 100% again tomorrow..." He looks at Clarence, "Right?" Clarence smiles and nods "Right." The five make their way out of the alley and head home to nurse Eddie and Clarence, the figure/thief watching them from a large distance then heads off. The five then start to rest as the sun lowers to be well rested for the next few days.
