• Chapter 3:Her Family

    We walked up to her porch and she unlocked her door. The inside was huge and they seemed to have everything.
    “Hey I’m home” she shouted. Suddenly her mother and father appeared out of no where. Nicole definitely got her looks from her mom. Her mom had the same blonde hair and green eyes. She was also quite tall with a slender figure. Her father had black hair with brown eyes. He was definitely built and I wouldn’t want to get in a fight with him.
    “Well well this must be the boy you’ve been talking all week about” said her dad.
    “Dad” she said starting to get all pink again.
    “Sorry didn’t mean to embarrass you darling” said her dad. Nicole sighed softly and rolled her eyes. I muffled a laugh.
    “Well isn’t he just adorable” said her mom. Nicole gave them a deadly look. She had scary eyes, and I wondered what was hidden behind them. I didn’t know it at the time, but I would find out soon enough just what she was.
    “Lets go upstairs before I die” she said as she grabbed my hand and dragged me up the stairs.
    “Nice to meet you” they both hollered. We went up to the second floor then she took me to the end of the hall. She opened a door into a huge room that must of been hers. It looked like the night sky. It had black walls with a bunch of golden, glittery stars and shooting stars all over. There was a giant yellow moon in the corner. It was truly amazing.
    “Holy love the art work, who did it?” I asked.
    “I did” she replied looking around with a smile.
    “Wow you’re good, no not good amazing” I said.
    “Thanks” she said. She also had a queen sized canopy waterbed that was black and a dark purple. A huge window covered by dark purple curtains. I felt right at home in this room. She had two black and two purple bean bag chairs spread in front of a large flat screen TV. She also had a Wii and an Xbox 360 with a shelf full of games mounted to the wall. She had black carpeting on the floor.
    “Man, I think I’m gonna still this room” I said.
    “I think not I worked hard to get it just the way I wanted it” she said. We both laughed.
    “I wish I could stay with you tonight” I said with a sigh.
    “My parents won’t mind as long as it’s ok with your folks” she said.
    “Really?” I asked.
    “Yeah, you can ask them?” she said. We then got up and found her parents in the kitchen preparing dinner with another girl much younger than us.
    “Hey mom since it’s Friday can he stay the night?” I asked.
    “Sure that’s fine, but won’t he need his stuff” said her mom.
    “I’ll drive him over to pick it up after dinner” said Nicole.
    “Ok dear, that’s fine” she said.
    “Thanks” I shouted as we headed back up the stair. We went into my bedroom and flopped on the bed. She decided to put in a movie. She snapped her fingers and the TV automatically turned on. Then Scary Movie started to play. The weird thing is she didn’t get up to put it on and didn’t have a remote. I got a little freaked out. She turned to me and then her eyes got huge.
    “Oh my god I completely forgot you’re human” she said.
    “What do you mean aren’t you human too?” I asked a little nervous.
    “Not exactly” she replied.
