- It was so dark all around him. He hardly knew if he was even going in the right direction. He tried lighting a match that he had saved from the start. He struck the bottom of his boot. The match burst with a red and orange light and a flame grew on the tip. He tried looking around but it hardly helped. Walls. On both sides of him. That's all he could see. He looked behind him to see if he could find the entrance. But even then he had traveld to far into the tunnel to catch a glimps of the light that he found courage from. He looked forward again, to a black abyss. He started walking again. Putting one tired foot in front of the other. He tried to remember who he was or why he had come here. But he could only remember. He had fallen from grace. Turned aside God and tried to walk his own way. He had come through the tunnel the first time to get away from God. It was easier to come through before. Almost every breathe he took was like smoke filling his lungs. The air was so stuffy and hot that he wished that he could stop breathing. He trugged on hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel sooner or later. He remembered what his grandfather had told him. "Have faith, and it will be ok". He usually wasn't a religious person but here in the tunnel said other wise. He had gone from the highest person to the lowest in a week. He couldn't stand feeling like this anymore and his last option was going to church. He went to the service and sat in the pew. The pastor talked about stuff like after life and ressurection of a perosn. He didn't understand it till a person came and sat down next to him and talked to him about what the pastor was talking about. He had gone home wondering what he should do. Well he got home and he suddenly felt like walking. He walked until he got to a tunnel. The same tunnel he had come through. And a thought passed through his head. "If you love me, then you will walk till you cna't anymore." He didn't know where it came from but he decided to listen to it and walked into the tunnel. And that's where he was now. He didn't know how long or how far he had walked. Only that the agonizing fate of not coming to the end of the tunnel. Suddenly he fell onto his knees and started crying. He was scared. The darkness started making voices at him. 'You can go back, you are always allowed back.' 'You can't make it, your worthless.' 'Come back to us, you will enjoy it.'. He cupped his hands over his ears and tried to block thevoices out. He slammed his eyes shut and started praying. Something he had never thought of doing. "God, if you are there... Please help me..." Suddenly, all the voices stopped. He opened his eyes slowely and realized that there was a small light at the end of the tunnel. He got up and ran to the light. It got brighter and brighter where the darkness fleed from it. He ran till he was out, and ran into the arms of a man. He looked up and saw the mans face. The man said, "I love you and will never leave you." He smiled, and hugged the man with a feeling of peace and hope.

- Title: The End Of The Tunnel
- Artist: flamingriku001
- Description: So I got bored and I decided to write a story with what I went through. It's not exactly of course, but it explains the Christian walk I went through while I was trying to give up the things I wanted instead of God. I finally got to the 'end of the tunnel' but like the story explains, it was hard.
