• It was April 20th 1999 (Hittlers Birthday). Two kids who when to Columbine had planted bombs in the library but they diden't detinate. In a rage two kids grabed 2 shotguns and whent inside. They first whent to the library. The librarian heard gunshots outside and screamed at the childrens to get under the tables. One of them kids was Rachel, Scoot's brother, Craig Scott.
    Craig and two of his friends got under a table. Then all of a sudden a shot student stumbled into the library. The two kids with the shot guns walked in and started a gore feast. They started rapidly shooting kids cowering in fear. They shot one of craig's friends in the head after taunting him. His other friend was shot too. Craig was about to die next but the sprinklers whent off from the guns. The two kids fled the scene but were taken in later. No one knows what the charges were. 13 kids were shot in the library and killed, 27 savirly wounded. But you ask what dose this have to do with us? It has everything to do with us. Rachel Scott probably a perfect girl, kind, friendly kinda perfect. Sadly on that day Rachel was first to die. It was summer so she was outside with a friend so where the two gunned kids. They approached the doors and they shot Rachel and her friend down. Many parents came worried and scared for the childrens lives to be ok. Many families were re-unioned. 13 were heart broken. Rachels Mother and Father, Darrel and Sandy Scott were in deep sorrow. So what dose this have to do with us still? I am getting there. Rachel's parents found a essay called "My Ethics, My Codes of Life" In her essay she wrote "Compassion is the greatest form of love human have to offer" Rachel wanted to do one thing in her life. She wanted to start a chain reaction of kindness. And to this day its come true. Rachels parents started a program called "Rachels Challenge". Rachels Family and Friends have gone to over 1k schools in US,Canada,Burmuda,Germany,and South America. Rachels father, Darrel, has seen the President over seven times. To discuss school violence. Every the Scott Family or Friend come to our schools. They begin to se a difference from them to now and this is how the accomplesed Rachels Challenge!
