The word pain is quite familiar to me.
The word is a dear friend of mine.
It has a habit of covering my eyes.
Has the awful tendency of spouting lies.
But I don’t want it to be this way!
Fly whilst you can, away from the turmoil and hurt.
Your hand is what I reach for.
Your love is all I need.
I tremble for what is to come.
I embrace all that comes our way.
You are the only one for me.
My dearest, I cannot last forever, but only in a memory.
Goodbye.
