Singing in the distance. I awaken with a slow but unexpected reason. I sigh and lay in bed, restless and reajusting my pillow to my liking. The singing is louder now, "What in the Nine Layers?!", I snap as I sit up. Glowing yellow eyes meet mine in the darkness of my room. "What do you want?", I ask with as much venom in my name as possible.
"Oh, love~ Is that any way to talk to your mother~?"
"You're no mother of mine, demon. Now what do you want?"
"I just need to let off some steam. I need your body. Mind if I use it?"
"You're not going out"
"I know that, princess."
"Don't call me that... I stopped liking that name years ago...", breaking eye contact, showing weakness. That demon always liked weakness. I sighed, "Fine, but don't move a lot. David's here."
"No problemo, princess~", it purred as I hissed aand receded into my body as it slipped into my skinvelope.
I laid inside of my mind and curled up on Vincent's lap as he hummed a lullaby to me to keep me from the trouble occuring to my body. I flinch as I feel pain. A glance from a pocket knife. Tch. Typical.
Hand-to-hand with the other holding a knife. Now this was fun~. A lunge and a twist. The grab at the wrist and other hand under the elbow and then a quick push up, breaking his elbow. Teaching lessons out in the fighting area. Don't ******** with a knife if you don't know how to use it. Kicked it up and caught it then threw it at the chunkier boy. A scream of pain. A smirk of pleasure. The wound wasn't serious, it just would hurt like hell for weeks. They panic and run, leaving the knife in the tree where it was an inch in. It was a two inch blade, so another smile appears across its face. Terrifying to all but the young man with it. He takes the thing into his arms and locks lips with it, where it bites his lip to add blood into the kiss the taste the bloody love. Pulling back, there's a look of caring in the demon's eyes for the first time ever. They seperate, not wanting to be seen. Showing affection showed weakness out here, and that wasn't acceptable.
Hours pass of plenty fighting...
Laying in bed with the demon, she gives the young man one last kiss before she goes limp for a few moments and then her breathing picks up again.
I groan and open my eyes "Ow... what the hell did you guys fight...? A bull...?". I sit up to go take a shower.
"That guy might as well have been", is all I get as a response before I hear soft snoring, indicating that David, once again, passed out. I smile and put his blanket over him before I quickly take a shower and change before climbing back into bed to fall asleep myself, hearing the singing from the demon in the far reaches of my mind. Only dread remained.
