-
She sits and waits
At the small windowsill,
For time to move on,
And stop standing still
Her beautiful wedding dress
Stained with blood,
Her youthful and pale face,
Stained with marsh mud
No one sees her
No one seems to care
As her ghostly body stands
Waiting there.

- Title: The Bride Poem
- Artist: RiverDaNile
- Description: This was something I did in English class this year. I already know my teacher thinks Im disturbed and what not, so I thought that I might as well comply to his thinking, so here is what I came up with...though I know its not all that disturbing...the story behind it is. It's about a bride, who was murdered on her wedding day, by her husband to be, and her body was left out in the marsh to rot for all eternity...while the groom took off with all her family's money...
