• Relentless anguish burns deep in his chest
    The flesh rips as his fingers rake
    Marks are left after meaningless effort
    To stop the pain only she can make

    Without a cure death be his fate
    He knows this all to well
    He must profess his feelings for her
    Or forever live in hell

    He does not know why he loves her
    That fact is hard to bear
    Maybe its her angelic eyes
    Or maybe her beautiful hair

    Maybe its her incessent chatter
    A trait he had always enjoyed
    Other people force her to stop
    Only he would be unannoyed

    It could have also been the feeling of warmth
    Whenever she was near
    But he knows he loves her for something else
    Though it remains unclear

    He cannot explain his feelings for her
    This he cannot understand
    Simply put he loves her for her
    More that any other can

    His determination must never fall
    His goal must stay in sight
    He must show her how much she means to him
    No matter how hard the fight

    He may lose an arm or a leg
    Though to him it matters not
    If the reward was to be her love
    It is a battle which must be fought

    He must release these feelings to her
    He can see no other way
    To tell her just how perfect she is
    To say what he must say

    Though he loves her more than life
    The thoughts of her still burn
    Until they cease to bring him pain
    Forever will tears return

    Every moment is spent thinking of her
    Knowing that he was to blame
    Maybe if he had told her himself
    She would have loved him the same

    He prays and prays through all the night
    Though he fears it to be in vain
    He swore that he would never give up
    No matter how fierce the pain

    He cannot get her out of his head
    His sanity crumbling away
    He see's the scars which cover his chest
    Then looks to the sky to pray

    Dear God almighty to whom I beg
    I have but a single wish
    Please grant me the strenth that I will need
    To show her that I exist

    He seeks a way to show her
    Though only one can be found
    He alone must show her his love
    To him this burden is bound

    She had already broken him once before
    Destroying his heart and soul
    Now he has nothing left but his life
    Which may also be lost with this goal

    He must find a way to tell her
    These feelings inside his heart
    If she throws these feelings away
    This world he will depart

    For without her he is nothing
    His heart an empty shell
    His life would no longer have purpose
    His mind would become his hell

    No matter how much that he burns this time
    He has to reveal what is true
    He fears his words are his last goodbye
    As he says the words I love you

    Be her response all that he needs
    Never shall his pain return
    He hopes this answer to be the truth
    or forever he will burn

    He cannot go on burning forever
    He just wants to live again
    To be able to look into her eyes
    Without incinerating from within

    He wants to remember what it was like
    Being able to sleep in peace
    Instead of lying awake all night
    His tears unable to cease

    He knows he will die if she regects him again
    Where his soul will go he cannot tell
    Even if he is sent to live in heaven
    Without her heaven's but another hell
