Although It Hurts

• Description: Uh.. This is a short poem that I wrote when my best friend and I got in a hugeness fight and then we decided not to be friends [[we are now, though... =/ ]
  Not my best work, I'll admit. I do have some of my works published, but I'm afraid I have no idea where to purchase a copy of the poetry-collection books that they're in. Sorry! :xp:

I just wish there was something that I could do
that would keep me safe from you
Every look we share hurts like hell
And I'm not feeling very well
I know that this is hard to take
But with everything that's at stake
This is what I am forced to do
I have to separate myself from you
And although it hurts to watch you cry
I'd rather that than watch you die...

The base and heart of this poem screams length. Add to it and it will only increase ten-fold in emotional weight and relevance.
I did enjoy it however so I commend you with a 4/5. Keep iy up and post some of your better work. I'd like to see it.
