Through blindfolded eyes
Seeing nothing
Only hearing the lies
Drowning in guilt
Unrightfully hers
She feels imprisoned
How those shackles burn!
Waiting for the day
When her freedom finally comes
Watching for her savior
To take her from the slums
Now tears of sadness
Run down her face
As she misses everything
She loved to hate.
