• as i sit, and as i think,
    a thought has now occured to me.
    we all make our daily choices,
    choosing what is "best for me"
    hardly ever do we think
    "what is best for Him"
    we are quick to blame Him
    for what goes wrong,
    but thank only ourselves,
    when anything goes right.
    we choose to ignore His law,
    whenever it gets in our way,
    yet expect others to obey.
    we take what we can,
    and give nothing back,
    and he mourns us all,
    for we will never get to know,
    the GLORY THAT IS GOD.
