• The Door to Thy Soul
    The eyes are the windows to the soul.
    The heart is a doorway to that soul.
    The door, having no handle upon the outside, must be opened from within.
    That door can be gently knocked o, awaiting an invitation to enter.
    Some accept the invitation and gracefully enter.
    Some accept the inbitation and gracefully enter.
    Some knock persistently, not taking "no" for an answer.
    Some will pound and beat on it until they get what they want.
    Some will bash it into splinters and having conquered, they will stomp away triumphantly.
    Some will politely knock, portraying something they are not, and once they get their foot in the door, they plunder.
    Some will knock, accept the invitation, stay for refreshments, only to say they really don't want to stay.
    Some will walk by, notice an open door and will wander in to see what is available.
    Some walk by and hear crying from within but they are too busy with their own journey.
    The door can only handle so much, or such harsh, knocking.
    Repairs can be made only so many times before it is too worn down.
    Be on guard for whom you allow to cross yur threshold and have access to your soul.
