Red Wolf
Running over the ash covered ground,
Everything is burned to the dark black ash.
Donning on the armor of the moon, the Red
Wolf merges from the old field of battle.
Over to the horizon rises a
Lone figure,
Frightening in his presence.
Monstrous and sinister he flies
Over the field towards the Red Wolf of war.
Opening up the sky and earth in his wake, it is
Nothing but the one red dragon who spits
Hell fire from his mouth.
Even the ancients fear him.
Losing the war, the Red Wolf runs towards his doom,
Letting go of all his
Fears.
Inside his heart pounds,
Repeating the single name that which he must defeat, the dragon name is
Evil.
Red with blood for all time,
Even though the dragon’s nine heads hold crowns of fire.
Donning on the battle cry of war.
Don’t try to flee or
Retreat. Stand
And fight the
Giant of evil.
Over the vast trials of battle
Neither relents.
Blood stains the ground
As each titan
Tears each others flanks.
Tooth and claw
Lacerate
Each moral apart.
Cold and hot winds cover the land in their wake,
Raking away the nameless fears.
Oh, how does this seem to be my entire fault?
Why can’t I protect the one I love?
Nothing is as it seems anymore, I can’t touch my
Fingers upon his face.
Anger rules here as I watch the Red Wolf fight for me,
Not knowing he is doomed.
Grab my soul and bite my lip to take me away to my beloved’s side.
Cold eyes pierce us as Evil threatens us all.
Let me turn into the beacon of light that will strike him down.
All I can see is the Red Wolf baring his fangs to protect me.
Wind blows the sweet scent of blood around him.
Beside him is his flame that stands alone as a
Lone sword of fire.
Other worlds depend on this battle,
Other people gather as they watch your
Death dance.
Clash together as a force of strength that defies all.
Rush into my heart as all becomes
Undone.
Even my love for him can not fully overcome all my past
Loves.
Silently the battle quakes
While it begins anew.
Over these many centuries I have waited to
Return to you.
Don’t let go of our promise Red Wolf, you are more to me than you know.
