Umm... I would say that you have a lot of visible grammar mistakes, because at some point it would make a still-learning-English reader confused because of the apostrophes that you missed.
Anyways, it's written nicely, a bit too rhyme-y, but it's alright, and since it's something that actually happened I can only advice you to move on because humans act first before really thinking about their actions, and we're pretty much selfish beings. So cheer up. =3
