I am the ice queen:
Solemn, cold, isolated--
My heart a heavy stone,
Frozen as the snow.
I need no one,
And let no one in.
And yet,
This fiery knight
Has let his warm embers
Seep into my soul.
His gentle flames
lick away
The icy cage
That keeps the pain
In my heart.
No longer am I
the queen of ice--
I am princess of
the new Spring,
and he,
my prince of Light.

Description:
one of my friends inspired me to write this one day.
we talked for long hours about loneliness and love and fire and ice.
some say that opposites can never be together, that fire cannot dance with ice because the ice would melt away.
but sometimes if you let the ice melt, something even more beautiful is born.
