Portraits line the walls here
But all of them smile
Its a funeral home
Not a hall of fame
I close my eyes
Shutting them out
But I can still feel them looking
Staring, endless lies
Do people smile when they die?
If I could speak to you again
That is what
I would ask
Mom calls me forward
I have to open my eyes
I try, mom understands
She knows and goes along with these lies
They put your picture up as well
I can see tears in moms eyes
I try to cry
But I can't, not knowing that these are all lies
