she clips out photographs she's
gathered over time
she says i'm sweet but really
she's not opened her eyes
but this summer has changed me
a boy less occupied
i'll make a note to tell her
she's like candy apples & wine
around the ferris wheel we
watched the sun set down
i grabbed your hand and told you
stay with me awhile
october's nights do glisten
as the wheel goes round
let's get off this ride and share some...
some candy apples & wine
i'll paint a picture with my hands, i'll wipe away the tears
i want to let you know it's okay...
beyond the darkness there is light, i want to see that smile
october's fair is soon in sight, i guess till then it'll be a while
'till we have candy apples & wine
she clips out photographs she's
gathered over time
she makes me feel like i'm alive
i left my heart with her and
so far it's doing fine
i guess 'till then it'll be a while
'till we have candy apples & wine
