Soft scented rose, the silky petal groves,
holding hands with the wind, majesty to send,
the painful thorn's stay, tis a fair price to pay,
to caress this earthgrown saint, free from taint,
Nestling roots, standing tall, astute,
marching with invisible zest, at time's request,
lavish red dress, heaven-send all attest,
Swaying to the melody of day, beauty such as this never fades away.
