Wedlock welcomes us,
Enter here,
But I assume so much,
Nothing but,
I start through the door,
Right in front of me,
I see the one I put a band on,
With anyone but me,
Damn him,
Our vows meant nothing,
Now it is his turn to pay,
Spare me the same old thing.
As my eyes close,
I can see nothing but the black,
My fists clamp shut as I scream back,
He takes a naked step towards me,
I scream in retaliation,
He dares to move closer,
I almost cry in unjust frustration,
A composer of tales,
His reach within inches,
No more!
No more!
My anger at it's limit,
As I head to the door,
The ring slips off my finger,
I exit with one thing in mind,
I was blind,
This wasn't the first time.
