    Seeming so innocent, somehow kind.
    She cleans your bloodied skin

    You must listen closely and follow my wish.
    There is a golden lie told over and again,
    Something that kills the sanity of men.
    Tell me my name and I shall set you free.
    Lie and it's the consequences you must seek."
    Her gaze was bitter and cold but intent.
    Trying to decipher the message she sent,
    Your heart beats to a drum that isn't there.
    This riddle isn't quite fair.
    The amazing prize just happens to be life
    The price is contact with her scythe.
    She hisses and grins with glee.
    How coldhearted can an immortal be?
    "Ponder no longer, I need your answer now.
    Promise if you fail, you won't scream to loud."
    An irrevocable smile wipes through her.
    She somehow catches you trying to whisper.
    Silence fills the air so bitterly.
    Both standing there for the world to see.
    "Your name is Death, my dark mistress."
    You calm yourself into a state of bliss.
    You seem sure of your answer.
    She moves gracefully, somewhat like a dancer.
    The only colour she cares to see.
    Spewed about her feet so lazily.
    "Death, my dear, is not my name.
    This has been quite a game.
    Love is a horrible thing."
    Her voice seemed to sing.
    "Such idiotic things,
    And golden rings.
    It is Love that brings you your death."
