People can ask me if I like my life.
I could say no while holding a knife.
For sometimes I do wish to die.
But I just smile and tell a lie.
My friends ask me, do I cry.
And so I tell another lie.
For I usually do cry every now and then.
But if I told them, would they still be my friend.
My parents asked me why I stay in my room.
And to my surprise they didn't assume.
That I stay in my room so I can think
Of how in my misery I can sink.
My parents and friends can't figure it out.
What the girl inside is really about.
They dont know how much I cry,
Or how well I can tell a lie.
The guy I like told me "You can't lie to me"
For the true me he can see
He see's me everytime I cry
And he knows everytime I lie.

- Secondly the reason why the man in your life will understand you better than your friends do is because he wants to. You're friends are busy worrying about why their families and friends don't understand them and they don't have time to worry about you because they're not head over heals in love with you. So to be honest, this is all completely normal. Just something to take comfort in perhaps next time you feel like a cry. wink Cheers.

- I don't know you, but I think I can relate. I have a theory and it's called "Generation id" and it's too long to explain here but what it boils down to is a lot of parents between the ages of 40 and 50 now simply don't have the capacity to understand or relate to their children because of the way they were raised and the era in which they were brought up. Try not to take it personally, or blame the 60's and 70's.
