• As i stand alone, in the darkness hollow.
    I see a little bird, soft and yellow.
    in all the worlds pain it chirped and sang,
    as if the whole world knew her name.
    The song of that bird warmed my heart,
    and the darkness of that moment seemed to warp.
    I was no longer afraid,
    for some reason, i was no longer in pain.
    As i listened to that song i began to sing along,
    and soon all the worlds darkness was gone.
    as i look around at the light of day, i knew what i was missing along the way.
    laughter, smiles, family's, and friends,
    i knew how close i was to my end.
    my world was waiting for me, waiting for me to see.
    i no longer stand alone in the darkness hollow, i have another road in which i follow
