There is something waiting to claw out of me.
I can feel its hind legs lodging its curved talon into my pulsing, aching mind.
But, god, there is no real way it can find a detour out of my mind.
I have to coax it out, with good music, literature, and emotions.
But I can’t even catch wind in a bottle.
How am I supposed to surface something so intangible?
There is something waiting to claw out of me.
I can feel its baby fingers gently holding my detached throat.
It’s choking me gingerly, with a reminder that it wants out.
But it’s blind.
I’m no seeing dog.
There is something in the living room, and it had clawed out of me.
