I walk on a path of cherry blossoms,
Rain gently falling around me,
Softening the blossoms,
My father holds my arm,
Bringing me towards my lover, soon to be husband,
My gown billowing out behind me,
I walk on the path
Each step, bringing me closer,
Closer, to my new life,
A life, I might be ready for,
A life, I might not be ready for,
But I’m willing to take the chance,
Just so I can be with him,
Be with him forever.
