• Forbidden Love

    You came to me on a random day
    on the worst day of all, since it was gray.
    When we met each other, we fell in love
    we knew we felt passion
    but hid it in our deepest thoughts.
    We shared many moments, both good and bad.
    But it all ended after you introduced me to another
    Without knowing that I did not love her
    So after a while I left her, for she committed some crimes
    It all forced us to avoid each other for the longest of time
    as if our love was no longer intertwined.
    For a while I disregarded you
    even if I stood besides you.
    Our elders keep us from each other
    yet they say you’re my lover.
    And as you can see now, they were right.
    Many obstacles are between us
    Although there is a law that I follow
    it is called Equivalent Exchange:
    To get something you must give an equal trade,
    this is what it says
    And so to you I give my love and soul
    In exchange for the kindness you gave me, my love
    I will for ever love you, I don’t care what others say.
    For whenever I’m around you, you take the gray away.
