Tragically Beautiful

Set in a demise
Tears cascading from his eyes
Staring emptily across a room
Ripping open old wounds

Everyone knew it was meant to be
His one and only tragedy
Abandoned in a dream
Attempting vainly to sow up old seams

Trapped in a cycle of fear
Allowing no one near
Curled up in a ball of doubt
Wailing day in and day out

Everyone knew it was meant to be
His one and only tragedy
Left behind in a dream
Trying vainly to sow up old seams

He left him to die
He left him to cry
For his own morbid humor
Wanting to prove a rumor-

If someone can break easily
So you left him angrily
Broken and beautiful
Your love was far from meaningful

I thought it was really good. One of the best poems that i have read so far.
