Black winter seeps in,
Snow of ice and decay,
The summers of life,
Will soon drift away,
The flags of our fathers,
Freeze down to the core,
The darkest of winters,
The sun is no more,
A bone-chilling blizzard,
Raptures us all,
The ones we called “leaders”,
Die after the fall,
Crippled by frostbite,
Biting your lips,
Broken and shattered,
A bleeding world drips,
A deep smoldering frost,
God sheds a tear,
For Earth and her people,
Who’ll go down with their fear,
Black rockets rain down,
Lancing the land,
One prayer recited,
For the Fall of Man.

- Deep. I like the use of the dark winter. It brings up the sense of corruption.

- Wow. I'm normally not a fan of poems that attempt to rhyme, but this was amazing. I really liked it. Good job.
