Are the ones who are there when I fall

The ones who helped me stand back up
Are the ones who taught me to walk

The ones who were there when I ran
Are the ones who triped me when I passed a crossing

The ones who helped me laugh about it
Are the ones that I call friends

The ones who taught me to trust
Are the ones I trust the most

The ones I grew up with, I hold the closest
So they know I've got their backs

The ones who made me, me
Are the ones I owe

Hear me now I'll stand by all of you until I die
I will never forget you and I hope you feel the same

Pretty good, hard to get the tone though, add a little more detail and emotional words

I realise this shouldn't be sad, but it is for me. That last line. "I will never forget you and i hope you feel the same". it's soo sad! Cuz my BEST friend's just moved country and i'll never see her again, and the whole poem just brings back memories of her :'( 5 - looks like it means different stuff to everyone.

nice poem but it isn't always right to put all of your trust in friends. Just as how they r the ones who help u rise they are the ones that sometimes bring u to a demise. Be careful.
