They say that loves a flower so
I planted one to watch it grow
I tended it both day and night
And soon it bloomed to my delight
But as the bloom continued to stay
I tended it less and less each day
And soon the bloom I once had planted
Began to feel taken for granted
The lovely bloom began to wilt
As tho' the soil had turned to silt
And now I often cry beside
The place my flower long since died
I wrote this poem so all should know
And don't forget to Hoe Your Row
