For every second that's gone by,
the rest of eternity will make me pay
for living that deceitful lie
But knowing I would always stay
Everyone thinks that I am strong
That I would do what was right, at any cost
If only they knew that they were wrong
I couldn't be strong when I needed it most
Your body was a large glass cabinet
With your heart lying in plain view inside
But I could not break my awful habit
So I could see it so clearly as it withered and died
After a while, I don't think you cared
It was like someone switched you off within
And as I realised, I became scared
That I'd lost the person you'd once been
But I don't know how to get you back, or if you want to be found

- Wow... the imagery is fantastic and luring. I can not only feel the pain, but reading this I feel as if I'm living it. Undoubtedly a 10/5.
