Tick Tock, Tick Tock,
Watch the world burn.
Standing by, looking on;
Watch Fate's Wheel turn.
Pitch black threads, finely sewn;
Watch the fire, catch the town.
Roman numerals, one through twelve;
Watch the fires, warp the bell.
Feral eyes, a gray-black mane;
Watch the demons, kill and maim.
Do not act and don't cry out;
Watch change so subtle, change the world.
One low sigh, mourn the sight;
Watch the glass, reflect the light.
Snap the clasp, turn away;
Watch in hand, walk away.
One last glance, past the shoulder;
Watch me vanish, as never there.
Life goes on, not missing me;
Watch as Fate, curses me.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock,
Watch the world, slowly burn.

- Title: Fall of Salim
- Artist: Ty Gwynnia
- Description: I wrote this during my Lit. class, while I was listening to my teacher read Sylvia Plath's "Lady Lazarus". It kinda came to me, the "Tick, Tock, Tick Tock, Watch the world burn." part. I was reminded of a town I'm now attached to, Salim, in my RP: Peaceful Days, Nights of Blood. This is the view of one of my charries, V.V.F. I'll write something about him later. Comment, rate, and PM if you want! ^^ ©
