Feel fur you
Walking beneath the trees
A mother walks with her cubs
Perhaps some were adopted
But all of them are loved
She, like the moon, shines beautifully
A mystery to see
Her eyes are full of wonder
Her heart full of belief
From behind, comes along the father
With a fierce and determined stare
His howl can shake the mountains
His scars show how he's fared
Among cubs walk mother and father
To which they sneak a peak
He is not so proud enough
As to not nuzzle his mate's cheek
Their pups bounce in front joyfully
And soon they reach their den
All huddled and laying down together
For when tomorrow begins again.
