• Description: i wrote this poem about a girl in my class. she's a friend of mine. she's like the type of girl every single guy wants to be with. last year, during prom, there were like 6 guys after her. and she went out with some of them. only, she told me, she KNOWS she'd never be happy unless JM(her first boyfriend) is the one she's with.

you broke my heart
but that was okay
i said to myself
there would be someone someday

and so one guy came
he was very true
but i wasn't happy
no matter what he would do

then there was someone else
super classy, super great
but then he had to go
it was just way too late

and then there was another one
but he was just too smart
he was great at biology
it's just that i prefer art

then came a gentleman
he'd say things i wanna hear
he stayed with me for a while
but i knew i wasn't sincere

so it got me thinking
why was i never true?
and that was when it hit me
NONE OF THEM WERE YOU.
