Your words fence me in
Where it becomes hard to breathe
I become so angry when you make me feel so stupid
I can never really seem to be myself when you are near
And it makes me go insane
You allowed them to put that ******** collar on you
Take your collar off
Stand up, say what you really mean
I never know which of us is more pathetic
It's strange really
I thought you'd like to hear what I've always felt towards you
Would you find my predicament rather...humorous?
Through a foreign set of eyes I wouldn't be surprised
I'd be a hypocrite if I said it was cruel
Do you ever laugh at yourself?
I do everytime a mirror is by
I always had such complacency towards everything
Just to sit alone in a room one day and piece by piece discover that my aspirations never really stood a chance
We never stood a chance

- Description: I don't know if this is a poem or just an expositional composition. That's up to you to decide. This is a real explanation of a problem I have. If you hate it, that's fine just be polite when you criticize. If you don't understand it just skip it. Thanks for taking the time to read. Have a nice day.

- I don't exactly think of it as a true, down-to-earth poem. I think of it as more of a informative composition. You are telling him your feelings, which is informative. I love this, though.
