If I am the sun,
Then who is my moon,
Because my day shift is over soon.
The last one said,
"Count to 61",
I was up to 40,
And almost done,
I was up to more midnight fun,
But I opened my eyes to the midnight sun.
My moon ran away,
So it was time for the day,
I wonder if my heart,
Will ever be okay.
I was hiding in the east,
And moving to the west,
Shining real hard,
But not shining my best.
I can light the day,
But can't light the night,
I need someone to make things alright.
Maybe someday,
Maybe somenight,
I will find the one to make things right.

- this is much better than all those other poems on spotlight that don't belong there. I like how it is about cosmological objects lighting up the celestial sphere to allow life on earth to be possible
