Always wearing my hood
With my ear buds in
I won't let you win
When you tell me what to do
But don't you see I'm not listening to you?

I'm daddy's little baby
And I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe
That if I make a good impression
Daddy will love me

So I hide my depression
I need to be a better daughter
I need to show this world
How useful I can be

I'm daddy's little angle
Just let that go
Because I stand here
Trying to get you to understand
That it's time and space I need
Don't worry, I need to bleed.

I'm daddy's little misfit
And never would I
Have let me go so easily
So that I can be me
