A final glimmer of hope fades.
A flower withers and wilts away.
But there is
One more chance.
The stem sprouts lacy parachutes
To carry the burden of life.
They wait only
For a wish and a whisper.
One gentle breeze.

Description:
I was watching a Discovery Channel thing in school about Dandelions.
And then I was thinking, that people make wishes, and then blow on the Dandelions and the seeds fly away. For a lot of people, I think that a wish is a last chance, one last try to get something they want, or to get out of a tough situation.
There's an optimism, I think, in knowing that you've made a wish, and it may come true. So, you blow on the Dandelion, and by doing this, you are helping it survive, as it is helping you. - Date: 10/28/2010
