• Troubled I was with the old mans eye,
Earnest also, as I planned him to die.
Lurking at his door for seven nights,
Lying in bed the old man had no frights.
    - Stealthy, precautious, and silent I was,
Till' the eighth night came, when I made a slight pause,
And the old man awoke when the lamp made a noise
Lunging at him, I did with poise,
Ending his life,he now lay unremembered,

Hiding him under the floorboards, dismembered.
Eerie knocks then pounded my door,
A few police stomped across my floor.
Ringing noises then drove me insane and...
Tearing up the floorboards I showed them. No pain.
