As it turns out, after leading me on for a year, he finally tells me he doesn't like me as anything more than a friend. But more than that, he told me it was my fault. What a jerk.

It teared out my soul,
the thought of you leaving me.
Now it has been done,
and I almost want to sing.
If I didn't know better,
if I actually saw what you did,
I might have cut you down first,
instead of quietly hid.
I locked myself away,
so I couldn't be manpulated by you.
If I didn't know better,
I'd say you love what you do.
You led me on
for quite a while,
and when I saw you
I wanted to smile.
Now I see you
for what you are,
If I didn't know better,
I'd say you don't have a heart.
You make women feel worthless,
as priceless as they may be.
If I didn't know better,
I'd say you think you deserve more than me.
