How can we live on as we watch those around us die
How can we forget what is burned in the back of our minds
Such a fragile life
How can we sleep through the night
When we forgot to say goodbye
No rest for weary eyes
All hope is abandoned in time
There's nowhere to hide
We all will be buried alive
As this world lays desolate
We watch the last dimming sunset
As it falls behind the horizon
Never to rise again
This is the end
We built walls within us to keep us from the outside
But from our own self we cannot possibly hide
For too long
Dear God forgive us, for we know not what we do
Throughout these struggles, somehow the blame falls on you
A never ending appetite, ceases only as we rest
We've become so heartless, there's a hole burning through our chest
No rest for weary eyes
All hope is abandoned in time
There's nowhere to hide
We all will be buried alive
And we're digging our own graves...

- I often feel like this. I especially like the "Dear God forgive us" part. Also I like part about hiding from ourselves. I feel like many people (myself included) hide from their true selves.
