Strong beams of penetrating golden light
Reflecting on clouds with colours so bright
Lighting the world with an illuminating glow
Faltering when night's soldiers approached
The sun hiding behind mysterious lands
Giving in to night's demands
The soft peach sky with drips of ink
Mixing in a witch's brew
Night's dark powers drew with time
Reinforcing the horrors' crime
Blinding the wolrd with an evil so strong
Vulnerable only to day's warm rays
The soldiers slowly shrank away
Against their pride to give a way
To a force proceeding from behind
The night's blue brightened along with the day
Their quarrels like a child's play
Neither ever getting their way
Both, determined and strong
Both, vulnerable and weak
