Im looking out my window
Im nothing but a widow
With three children
Im looking out the window
Hoping to see you walking up those steps
Proof that you are not dead
Hes gone they told me
Missing in action
But i have faith
That you are coming home to me
To our children
You left that year on a cold June night
They forced you to go
But...you had NO training
You were just their tool of war
But...
You made a difference
We have won the war
But...
you are not back
But i wont give up.
I have.....
Faith.
I remember
you walking down those steps
sayin dont you worry ill be back
soon but if i die
i say Goodbye, but dear dont worry
or youll be srry wink I'll be back this cold June
He was supposed to be back one month ago
I miss him so dearly
whats this a letter.
It was sent by...It cant be
as tears rolled down my face
I new who it was.
It was Him...
on the lettter was three words
...GOODBYE, TURN AROUND...
and as i slowly turned around
There he stood
Standing there just smiling
He gave me a rose
said hun i made a differnece
Dont be sad
Dont worry
ill wont be back too soon
and i died so goodbye
ill be back next cold june.
and as he dissapeared
i looked at the letter now it said
take good care of this flower
it is from the feild i died in
The last remains of me.
as i put down the letter
i smelt the flower
and softly smelt the flower
whispering to myself
Goodbye.
