Connections

  Will fall apart,
  Its life drained,
  Its arms empty.
  
  We all have connections,
  We are tied together,
  Around the world,
  Yet we fight,
  Some reasons are justified,
  Others are not.
  
  With our greed blinding us,
  Our bonds stretch thin,
  Building tension,
  Severing our connections.
  
  If we let it go on,
  We will all fall,
  Leaving us,
  Empty,
  Alone,
  Our connections,
  Lost.

I wrote this as a project 2 years ago. I entered it in a contest and I won, so now its published smile to think i got the idea for this from a picture of an empty bridge
