• Why do I feel like a bird stuck in a cage and is trying to break free, like a fish out of water along the shoreline trying to breathe.
    I feel like a kid who has no one and is all alone, or like a poor little dog hurt by it's owner and all it wants is a home.
    I want to believe in many things but I can't through these tears in my eyes. I want someone who is always there for me and never lies.
    When we first met that day I did not know what to do, for I think you would hit me if I walk up to you.
    You were kind and nice to me for these many years, but all these hatred and rudeness that I felt from others made me scare.
    And here you come to be with me though it may only be for a while., You play, and sing, and dance with me and you made me smile.
    Your someone I can go to whenever I need a hand, When I have an emergency you come as fast as you can.
    Though people may shove and hate me, your always by my side, To help me up and give me a shoulder whenever I need to cry.
    Now I see many things I thought I could not see, like the people just like you though I think this is just a dream.
    Look there is the bird who was stuck in the cage and there she flies away, the fish that jump back into the water and who now is here to stay.
    The kid who plays with others now and is forever filled with joy, or the little dog who found a new owner and plays with a brand new toy.
    Now I can believe in many things and its all thanks to you, for you are the one who took away my pain right out of the blue.
    You are someone I would like to have by my side till the very end, for you are someone I am happy to call, now and forever, my friend.
