• Description: I know it has no rhyme or rythm this is just what came out and the sister thing is hard to explain. If you knew how we really worked it would make sense. But only we know that. Anyway, this is kind of a break up poem. It's the most revealing poem i've shared but honestly that's all i want. That's all he lavished upon me until he didnt. It's like he just turned it off and i can't do that.

my sister says I don't know what it is to love
that may be but I know what it is to be loved
to be loved is my most favorite thing
In return I shower my lover with every act of kindness I can
I show my appreciation in every act towards them
I try to give them everything they want or need
All I ask is your love and honesty
All I need is your attention
Strange though how it feels when you take these away
Since my sister says I cant love my heart doesn't break
but oh it hurts when you lie to me or give love to another
oh how the tears flow when you pay me no mind
How my heart feels hollow when you leave me
I may not have loved you but I got as close as I could
I may not have loved you but it felt like it
I may not have loved you but I did
