  this one's about my spiritual journey. it's one of those "flip" poems. it takes a different meaning if you go through the lines forwards/backwards.

I approach the light.
I turn around and see that
My shadow darkens.
I do not fear when
All is well, so
I will struggle, but ultimately,
Things will always go wrong.
…I hate that.
They say “We’re only human.”
I accept it as truth.
I can see love and
how twisted it can be.
Because of
the issues of my heart
I do not believe in
anything else.
It is foolish to live for

God.

This is pretty interesting, I like how both sides of the poem are like reflections moving toward the center and it makes sense if you read it backwards. Are "flip poems" a new thing? I never heard of them.
